On the way back we decided to make a stop at my dad's for the weekend. The kids were beyond excited to be at Papa and Neenee's house.
While we were there we got a visit from Keith's parents ( Mimi & PeePaw). They wanted to bring the kids their Easter gifts. Which included a cookie decorating kit. This is sad to say but it was the first time my kids and I decorated cookies together. They loved it!
They are so excited, look at the joy on there sweet faces.
They worked so hard to make sure they got the icing on just right. Notice the use of the tongue.Then it was time to eat it. Well, everyone except Emma enjoyed their Easter cookies.
Those boys love them some sugar!
We had a lot of fun, and I will definitely be doing this activity again.
Well, it's back to school and work for us next week. Hopefully we can get back into our groove again.

you were the highlight of my spring break. thanks for taking three children putting them in an enclosed space for seven hours and driving all the way to Tulsa!! best friend just does not do you justice--you are truly heaven sent!! I love you & miss you!!
My kids LOVED the zoo so I am sure we will be back really soon. SOme day when you are not busy let me know and we will drive over and spend the day. There is still a lot to do in Memphis that I have not had the chance to do with them. I am sure Jackson and Ethan would get along GREAT! as well as Emma and Scarlett.. that would be a blast! We will definitely have to do that soon! Love the Easter pictures by the way! You are lucky that Emma is not a sugar hound! :) She is the "artiste" you can tell how hard she is working on her cookies! Tongue out concentration!
